Description
An authentic treasure of that calcareous terroir, very mineralized, and embellished with clayey layers and sandy sediments which is the western area of the Doc Grave, Cabernet Franc Friuli Grave Doc is the ideal choice for every table that has dishes with a strong character. On the nose the wine shows intense fruity sensations of blackberry, raspberry, black cherry with herbaceous notes of freshly mown grass and hay.
The taste is dynamic, at the start characterized by very present tannins which are not unpleasant; on the contrary, it is optimally balanced in an overall sense of harmony and roundness, giving an aromatic finish, with slightly fruity fragrances. Cabernet Franc Friuli Grave Doc goes very well with dishes such as roast red meat, game, remarkable Pitina Della Val Tramontina and stuffed guinea fowl.
